This is news to me...
We have a great selection of offers that give you even more reason to visit.
North Wales Restaurants Ebb & flow and The Cove Bar
Nestled quietly along the banks of the River Rothay, the Bridge House sits across the street from the historic St. Oswalds church. William Wordsworth, the beloved poet, author, and lover of the Lakes District, is buried in the church grounds. Visitors to the Bridge House will hear the church bells calling out the hours and be able to wander through the churchyard at will.
A stay at the Bridge House isn’t a visit, it’s a chance to stay at your second home. You will be welcomed with a cream tea with homemade scones and cakes upon arrival. The Bridge House River Pantry offers complimentary tea or coffee also with homemade cookies.
Bridge House just reopened after an extensive renovation. Now with each room refurbished to the highest standards, it stands ready to welcome you to the heart of Grasmere. Bridge House guests are welcome to take advantage of the leisure facilities at the property’s sister hotel, The Inn Grasmere. Facilities include a swimming pool, gym, and sauna.
