Every Bridge House room is filled with little extras that provide a unique touch, from period-appropriate telephones to custom cabinetry. All Bridge House rooms feature Noble Island toiletries of the highest calibre.

Some of these rooms are on the ground floor with their own private patio and are great if you like ‘your inside to be outside’ or if you’re visiting with your pooch.
You won’t have time for telly, but there’s a freeview if you do. Free WiFi and a spot to do a bit of catching up or work.
You don’t need to remember your hairdryer and we have a fluffy bathrobe so you can enjoy a cuppa in your room.
If you’re out on adventures or the four-letter-word (work, cheeky, work!) you’ve a safe for your specials. It’s little things, right?!

A fully-detached cottage with three large bedrooms, full kitchen, dining and sitting room, the Silver Howe View is the perfect base of operations to explore the surrounding area. The cottage boats unparalleled views across the fields to Silver Howe. Open a window and sleep to the sound of the river rushing just beyond the private garden and outdoor patio.
The Silver Howe View Cottage can be booked together with the Coach Room to provide four large bedrooms under a single roof.

Our Location, by car:
Grasmere is located in the centre of the Lake District, if you are driving North to South the M6 motorway serves the Lake District.
Exit at junction 35 on the M6.
And then take the A590 and follow the signs for Grasmere.
If you are driving South to North then exit at junction 35 and take the A590.
For your convenience we have two electric car charging points at the Bridge House.
